SIP was originally designed by Mark
Handley, Henning Schulzrinne, Eve
Schooler and Jonathan Rosenberg in
1996 to facilitate establishing
multicast multimedia sessions on the
Mbone. The protocol was
standardized as RFC 2543 in 1999.

SBI Mutual Fund
launched its equity–
based micro systematic investment 
plan (Micro SIP). It is aimed at
getting in low income households in
rural and semi-urban areas to benefit
from the long
term investment in equity as an
asset class

SIP ?
MICRO Sip is systematic investment
plan but with the added feature of
low monthly investment amount just
of RS/-100
How micro SIP
works
Basically it depends on the investor
what’s the time period of annuity the
minimum amount of investment is
RS/-100 or above. It’s minimum
tenure is facility is five years
WHAT YOU NEED IN MICRO SIP
Micro SIPs are exempt from the
requirement of PAN or KYC
documentation. However, a copy of a
photo identification document, such
as the Aadhar card, voter ID
or driving licence, issued by the
government, needs to be submitted
and verified with the originals.

What is STP ?
An STP is a plan that allows investors
to give consent to a mutual fund to
periodically transfer a certain amount
/ switch (redeem) certain units from
one scheme and invest in another
scheme of the same mutual
fund house.

SWP refers to Systematic Withdrawal

withdraw a fixed or variable amount
