Well and Recurrent Section
• This section is used to define wells. In this page production date,
production parameter, constraints, wellbore and tubing prperties,
and etc are inputted.
• Ex: Well-1 is located in coordinate (11,11,5 ) in i, j,k direction, the
well is perforated at layers 1 - 5.
• The procedure to input the data is as follows :
Select a well data (Ex: Well_1).
Click Well on taskbar.
Set the Type of the well (Ex: Producer).
 The next step is click Constraint , and check Constraint
Definition.
 Click Add and input parameter required in Add Well Constraint.
 Click OK

Initialization
• The next step is to compare between Geological model and
simulation model. Parameter that should be matched are OOIP
and initial reservoir pressure.
• To conduct the compsrison:
• Running data using Validate With IMEX.
• Run to View Inialization to see data output of OOIP.
• If the results are different then we adjust some parameter
such as: thickness, area and porosity.
• If the volume of simulation model simulasi equal or near the
volume of gelogical model, then simulation model is assumed
to be valid. The model then can be used for next process.

Run the simulator
 Click Validate with IMEX to run Simulator
Display the Result
• There are 2 simulator outputs: Graph (Result Graph) and 3D
(Result 3D).
• Drag File.out to Results 3D 2008.10. to display 3D form and
drag file.irf to Result Graph 2008.10 to display the graph.

Numerical Section
• We do not need to input this section since ,
karena pada step ini secara otomatis simulator
akan mengisi data yang diperlukan oleh
simulator (default-nya).
