COLD CHAIN

• A cold chain is a temperature-controlled supply chain. An unbroken cold chain is an uninterrupted series of refrigerated


production, storage and distribution activities, along with associated equipment and logistics, which maintain a desired
low-temperature range.

• Agility logistic have cold storage of -30 degree ,-13 and -5.
• -5 degree is required for medicine.
• -13 is for vegies and fruits and -30 is for ice cream.
• To maintain the temperature for storage which is always a big challenge to keep the product alive .
• Agility logistics have special types of material handling equipment for cold storage.
LOGISTIC HANDLING

• Agility logistics have more then 400 vehicles for logistic purpose.
• They also have multiple contractors like BSL logistic.
• They also have the transportation to handle cold chain products .
• As you know some products required special kind of controlled temperature container for transportation to
their final origin
• It involve some risk factor as well for that they have introduced (BMS) Battery management system and (LMS)
load management system through open port.
• There are various system to avoid risk factor in logistics. Which we have already discussed in above point.
