ARTICLE VS JOURNAL

A scientific article is a genre of journalism, which involves a


summary of the conduct of scientific research and its results.
The main purpose is to share the results obtained, through the
research carried out, with the scientific community so that these
can be known and contrasted), and to contribute something new to
the thematic field it deals with.

Scientific journals are publications with the express goal of


expanding, stimulating, and facilitating inquiry in the scientific fields
through publishing researches, findings, or studies conducted by
academic students, experts, or teachers.

several types of journals; Local journal, national journals,
accredited national journals, international journals, and
international reputable journals

The title must be arranged concisely, but it
must describe the contents of the research.

Abstract in scientific article aims to provide a


brief description to explain the contents of
the article you make. It contains objectives,
methods, results, and conclusions. and it is
usually not more than 250 words.
Introduction is a narrative that contains the
background of the problem which is studied
by the researcher.

Method, the process of searching data in


research, both the source of the data and the
method used to collect it.
Results contain the overall results of the
study. In this section, you may include tables
or pictures to strengthen evidence.

Discussion; it contains deep


explanations that come from the results
of the research.
Conclusion contains an overall summary
of the research starting from the
introduction to the discussion.
References is a list of literature used to
conduct the research.
