INTRODUCTION
India is well known for the carpet industry . The carpets manufactured in India are mainly exported. Total export of carpets is worth over Rs.3500crores. Main market for the Indian exporters are U.S.A, Canada ,E.U, U.K., Japan and ASEAN nations.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of this study is to study the problems faced by the traditional handmade carpet industry in India.
