    LYDC, headed by the SK Pederasyon President, which
    shall be called:
    a) Provincial Youth Development Council;
    b) City Youth Development Council;
    c) Municipal Youth Development Council;
    ⚫ Composed of atleast ten (10) but not more than twenty-one
    (21) members, including two (2) members from the SK;

    LYDC : ROLES AND FUNCTIONS
    ⚫ Assists in the planning and execution of projects and
    programs of SK and of the Pederasyon at all levels;
    ⚫ Finalize the Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP);
    ⚫ Monitors and evaluates the implementation of the LYDP;
    Local Youth Development Officer
    (LYDO)
    ⚫ Shall be appointed/designated by the LCE;
    ⚫ Facilitates the election of the LYDC representatives;
    ⚫ Provide technical assistance to the LYDC in the
    formulation of the LYDP;
    ⚫ Registers and verifies validity of youth and youth-serving
    organizations;
    ⚫ Provides needed technical, logistical and other support to
    SK Officials and LYDC Members;

    THEREFORE...
    1) SK represents the LYDC in the implementation of its
    programs, projects and activities;
    2) SK is the representative of LYDC to the Sanggunian, in
    terms of policy advocacy;
    3) SK has two (2) powers, Executive and Legislative;
    4) LYDO is the liaison between SK/LYDC and the Local
    Chief Executive (LCE);
    5) LYDO is the Secretariat of LYDC, in the conduct of its
    meetings;
    CONCLUSION
    6) LYDO provides technical and logistical support in the affairs
    of the SK, more importantly in giving them trainings;
    7) LYDC assists the SK in the implementation of its programs,
    projects and activities as reflected in the LYDP;
    8) LYDC is the consultative body of the SK;
    9) LYDO is the representative of the LCE on youth-related
    matters;
    10) SK and LYDO are partners in promoting youth development.
