PROBLEM

How can the Philippines achieve economic development by avoiding

cutting down trees and giving the proper punishment to those people
who cut trees?
ALTERNATIVE COURSES OF
ACTION
• Standing with Indigenous People- Indigenous peoples’ rights to
traditional lands and self-determination are respected, forests stay
standing.
• Promoting Sustainable Choices- avoiding single-use packaging,
eating sustainable food, and choosing recycled or responsibly-
produced wood products.
• Go Paperless- Reduce paper consumption.

Indigenous peoples have rich and ancient cultures and view their
social, economic, environmental and spiritual systems as
interdependent.
