Despite having the best of intentions—SPF 50 in tow for face and body, plus a sunscreen stick to get lips, eyelids and other difficult areas—there's no doubt I consistently miss one area when applying sunscreen: My back. And when my husband's not around, let's say, on an AM run when he's still fast asleep, I'm left with burn marks at times not unsimilar to these, and frankly, it sucks. But then the Huffington Post changed my life.

When I stumbled across this article on six ingenious hacks to help you apply sunscreen to your back, I couldn't NOT share, even though it's POURING here in New York today. From using a spatula and a towel to the more transcendental "yoga" method, there's one thing you need to know: They all work.

So what were you saying about bad tan lines?
