First appearing in the film MONTY PYTHONS LIFE OF BRIAN, Always Look on the Bright Side of Life is a sing a-long style song which portrays a "stiff upper lip" sensibility. It was again used in the Broadway hit SPAMALOT. Though it is marked "Swing", the notation is in a "legit" manner. Interpret as needed. The overall feeling is "cheeky" and "absurd".
