Sesame noodles are my new favorite. Typically recipes call for using spaghetti, but I decided to switch it up and use ramen noodles instead. I love them because they really soak up the sauce, and you taste major flavor in every single bite.
If you have just a few minutes, you’ll be face-deep in these deliciously spicy noodles. You’ll go crazy over this dish.
Easy Sriracha sesame noodles recipe
Serves 4
Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 10 minutes | Total time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce, plus more for garnish
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 2 packs ramen noodles (flavor packets discarded)
- 2 green onions, green tops sliced thin
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Directions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, vinegar, Sriracha sauce and dark brown sugar. Set aside.
- Bring a medium-size pot of water to a boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, add in the 2 packs of dried ramen noodles, and cook just until done.
- Drain the noodles, and pour them back into the pan. Pour the sauce over the warm noodles, and toss to combine so the noodles soak up all that wonderful sauce.
- Stir in the green onion slices and sesame seeds. Drizzle with extra Sriracha, if desired.
