Simple tests for complex diseases
We’re on a mission to make precision diagnostics accessible around the planet.
Our molecular technology makes diagnosing complex diseases simple. No need for laborious tests and expensive machines, our kits bring molecular intelligence to widely accessible PCR equipment.
Traditional PCR diagnostics are limited.
Traditional molecular diagnosis uses a biochemical reaction known as PCR to look for one biomarker that indicates the patient has a disease.
Typically, PCR has been used to diagnose infectious diseases because these conditions require only one or two biomarkers to detect (e.g., viral RNA). This is how lab COVID tests work.
However, many diseases aren't that simple. The industry is turning to panels of multiple biomarkers, in particular gene expression signatures. Right now, this requires either running numerous PCR tests in parallel or upgrading to expensive, complicated machinery, like sequencers.
These legacy technologies are not fit-for-purpose. Complex preparation and analysis workflows and high-tech machines increase the time and cost of diagnosis, creating a real bottleneck for precision medicine adoption and leading to underserved disease areas.
We design smart PCR kits that detect gene expression signatures.
Signatur Biosciences’ technology expands PCR testing to a whole new range of conditions. We design smart PCR kits that can detect complex diseases as easily as a COVID test, using standard qPCR machines. Our kits seamlessly integrate into existing clinical workflows and ubiquitous laboratory instruments.
Modern, precision diagnosis relies on patterns of biomarkers. Our PCRchitectur technology uses the molecular machinery of PCR to condense all the work of detecting and interpreting a panel of RNA biomarkers into a single test. Instead of relying on complex solutions, we seamlessly integrate with existing clinical workflows and infrastructure.
