Cliveden Manor has been proud to organise and sponsor our second Dementia Champion Induction Day in Marlow today. The training was hosted by Louise Bates, Regional Dementia Friends Officer for the Alzheimer’s Society. Over 20 people ended the day as newly trained Dementia Champions, now able to host their own Dementia Friends Information Sessions.
Our Client Liaison Manager Sarah Loveday introduced Louise to the group, and Paul Bolton, Chairman of Making Marlow Dementia Friendly, explained more about the committee’s work to make our lovely town of Marlow dementia-friendly.
Sarah is a trained Dementia Champion and hosts a Dementia Friends Information Session most months at Cliveden Manor. Please see the MMDF website for forthcoming dates and if you’d like to be involved with Making Marlow Dementia Friendly, we would love to hear from you!
