Are you ready for some high school football?

The 2021 high school football season will begin in about 20 days. That after Staten Island’s 11 football programs teams did not play in 2020 because of the pandemic.

Instead, NYC football was played in the spring of 2021, although it was an abbreviated season.

Below (and above) are some of the top photos taken by our Advance photographers and some other photographers who sent us photos during the 2019 season.

Since we know our readers like photos so much, we plan to send our photographers to more games this season in all HS sports, including some JV games.

Most of this content, however, will be subscriber exclusive. If you are not a subscriber to SILive.com, it’s not too late to become one for the fall season. Just click here to get the short process going.
