The pandemic has contributed to another store’s bankruptcy.

This time it’s Seattle-based Sur La Table, which announced last week it will close almost half of its stores around the country.

Although there are no Sur La Table stores on Staten Island, there are a handful in upstate New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. But bargain hunters can shop on the kitchenware department store’s website to shop for great deals.

The store is currently offering up to 65% off some items.
