Rangers have turned down a bid from Preston North End for midfielder Josh Windass.
The Sky Bet Championship club made a £500,000 bid for the 23-year-old, which was rejected on Friday.
Windass joined Rangers on a four-year deal from Accrington Stanley in 2016 and has since gone on to make 50 appearances for the club.
The midfielder scored just one goal in his first campaign in Scotland and struggled at the start of this season under Pedro Caixinha.
However, Windass has flourished since Caixinha's departure in October and has now scored six goals in 19 Premiership appearances this season - form which has attracted the interest of a number of English Championship clubs.
