Logos. Think of a logo like a person . We like to be called by our names, James, Jane, Amy or Tom rather than the bloke who always wears pink and has stripy socks!! In the same way, a logo identifies a business so it is recognisable (easy to remember) and memorable (stays in our mind).

Think of a logo like a person. We like to be called by our names, James, Jane, Amy or Tom rather than the bloke who always wears pink and has stripy socks!! In the same way, a logo identifies a business so it is recognisable (easy to remember) and memorable (stays in our mind). In other words, we remember it and know when we see it, what the business is or at least, which one it belongs to. It is important that a logo becomes easy to recognise and so we then learn to remember a business by its logo.
You are going to be split into two teams You will need to write down the name of the logo down so the other team does not hear you Let’s see which team can recognise these logos, but, there is a twist…..
You are going to design 2 logos for the business you are promoting You are going to think about interesting ways in which you can do this – come up with some really different ideas You will need to think about what it would look like if it was on a verylarge advertising billboard or verysmall like on a business card You will need to think about if it looks just as good in black and white as it does in colour because sometimes, documents are printed in black and white – they are not always printed in colour!
