Good Human Activities • People make protectorates in the desert for hunting, building factories, making roads, protecting animals and plants from humans, cars and engines. • Info from mom
Bad human activities • Construction work ruins the desert environment. People throw trash in the desert, road vehicles in unrestricted areas all over the desert. • Their vehicles leave tracks on the soil, which will scar the land for decades. The developments of mechanics are ruining the desert sands. • Info from my Mother
Solutions for human activities • Protecting the remaining deserts, by educating the public on the importance of the natural biodiversities. • Finding solutions to satisfy different believes and culture. • Incorporating laws to preserve the plants and animals in deserts from destruction. • The use of road vehicles only on designated roadways • http://oregon.sierraclub.org/conserv/hidsrt/ • http://environment.nationalgeographic.com/environment/habitats/desert-threats/
