Jeff Hammerbacher, Chief Scientist at Cloudera, put it best: “The best minds of my generation are thinking about how to make people click ads. That sucks.” At DrivenData our goal is to make the world suck a little less by empowering impact organizations to get the most from their data.
Peter Bull, co-founder at DrivenData, will speak on the ways in which statistics, computer science, and machine learning can be applied to the challenges in the social sector. Each year, the VMOC Briefs are produced by students enrolled in Environmental Health Science Course 581 - Public Health Emergencies: Disaster Planning and Response. These briefs compile diverse information sources – including status reports, maps, news articles, and web content– into a single, easily digestible document that can be widely shared and used interactively. Key features of this report include:

- Accessibility: Designed for easy reading, wide distribution, and interactive use.

After Shashank's death, no powerful king emerged in Bengal for a long time. As a result, there was political instability in Bengal for about 100 years. The Khalimpur inscription reveals that during this period, Matsyanyaya was prevalent there under which the strong were oppressing the weak. Frightened by this anarchy, the people of Bengal made a commander named Gopal their king. This is an important example of the election of a king by the people. Gopal ended the anarchy in Bengal and laid the foundation of a new dynasty. This dynasty is famous by the name of Pala.
