Sharing the sublime ideas from academicians of distinguished calibre and lofty thoughts from cream of intelligence in all streams of educational horizon, with an exclusive intention to promote high standards in educational field, Aditya Academy was established in the year 1984 for enriching the knowledge of budding youth with innovative methodology and to equip them with competitive skills to face the future challenges. It has made its beginning with a public school to cater to the prerequisite demands of primary and secondary education. In its process of widening the sphere Aditya started CBSE + 2 Course to meet the aspirations of the students spread across the country. As the journey progressed, Aditya Academy simply grew from strength to strength, thus spreading its wings to Junior Colleges, Degree Colleges, P.G. Colleges, Engineering and Pharmacy Colleges, Management, Nursing Colleges and Teacher Training Institutions. A gamut of 50 educational institutions in different streams, with a faculty of 5,000 members and surging student strength of 50,000 stands testimony to the pillaring effect Aditya Academy has had on the society in the past three decades. For students coming from distant areas stretched across the country, a comfortable Hostel accommodation is provided separately for boys and girls. Marble floored buildings with A/C and Non A/C facility are made available to the students. Nutritious North Indian and South Indian menu is served to the hostellers as per the requirement. The care taken by the administrators keep them comfortable and general feeling is expressed by the in-mates of the hostel that they are not feeling the pinch of their separation from their maternal care. In a perception Survey conducted by the Indian Council for Market Research (ICMR) and compiled by premier magazine The Sunday Indian, Aditya Group of Engineering Colleges stood 13th in the top 20 private Engineering colleges in India. The parameters the Survey dwelt on include faculty, alumni network, infrastructure on one hand and student perceptions on the other. South India’s 9th Rank for Aditya – Survey by To take a different and more enlightened look at quality education at the disposal of various government and private professional colleges, and to rank the best engineering colleges, Silicon India, a popular magazine, conducted a perceptual study among the HR managers, recruitment firms and job boards. Aditya Group of Engineering College, Surampalem, has formed a part of top 10 best engineering institutes on a broad division of three streams - Computer Science, Electronics & Communication and Mechanical Engineering. The survey, based on various credentials like quality of faculty, focus on research, infrastructure, fee structure among others, throws light on judging a college’s quality.
17 A distinguished 4th position for Aditya in South India – Survey by Placement Research Wing of DM (Digital Mailers) With an intention to evaluate Non IITS Tech Schools in India, the Internet based Magazine Digital Mailer came up with the survey to bring an overview of India’s Best Tech Schools who are on par with IITs and NITs. Campus Placements often have more drama and nail biting experiences. It can throw curve balls that even the seasoned batsmen will find it difficult to handle. The DM Magazine made an exhaustive survey of 25,000 Engineering graduates from 200 Non IITs Tech. Schools across India. The parameter selected to rank these colleges is the earning potential these Tech Schools offer to their students. According to its Placement Research wing which conducted the survey, Aditya Engineering College ranks 4th among top ten Tech Schools in South India. Aditya conferred 13th Rank out of top 25 Engg. Colleges in India An analytical survey by The Indian Council for Market Research (ICMR) conducted a perception survey and identified - 25 most promising Engineering Institutes. The survey was conducted amongst engineering students and faculty members of esteemed engineering colleges. SCHOOL OF CIVIL ENGINEERING 21 The department of Civil Engineering at Aditya takes its inspiration from the architect of modern irrigation system in south India, Sir Arthur Cotton, the genius architect behind the construction of Godavari Dam and other such projects that turned the lands fertile and made the delta region the “Rice Bowl” for the state. The aim is to produce technocrats who can build the nation. Civil Engineering has ample scope for research and consultancy services in not just real estate, but in agriculture also such as irrigation methods and water management. In addition to providing extensive and systematic study in the core subjects such as Surveying, Environmental studies, Geotechnical and Transportation Engineering to name a few, the program also offers unique internship opportunities to students at companies such as Sowbhagya and Ramky Group to provide real time and hands on experience. Harnessing talent-Hands on and Minds on 43 All-Terrain Vehicle - Media’s favorite vehicle Experimental learning is paramount at Aditya. As a part of it, a team of 12 students of IV year mechanical engineering of Aditya Engineering College designed, fabricated and assembled an All-Terrain Vehicle(ATV) as per International BAJA standards. This vehicle which is capable of negotiating any kind of terrain like rocky, sandy or hilly is categorized by its low pressure tyres, high ground clearance and independent suspension. Plan Execution The team pioneered by the captain and the vice-captain set upon themselves the tasks of breaking up the venture into various tasks. The venture was segregated into 3 parts namely designing, fabrication and assembling, each part spearheaded by a student who was a specialist in the area. Besides, a technical specialist and chief analyst monitored the entire venture. The venture cost around 5 lakhs and encouragingly the Vice-Chairman of Aditya Group sanctioned the entire amount. Features The body was built of seamless pipes ASTM106 Grade B, the engine - a PIAGGIO395CC petrol engine permitted by PIAGGIO Italy, and the seat and SFI rated safety equipment from Beltenick. The vehicle has a ground clearance of 14 inches. The stability of the vehicle was maintained with the tyres, rims and suspension which were sourced from Polaris USA Added Features: • Safe cabin design, Rigid roll cage • High ground clearance with Payload capacity of 800 kg • Maximum speed 100 kmph (calculated) • 4+1 custom gear shift designed for off-road environment • Hill climb 650 and hill descent 620 • High torque transmission • Calibrated pressurized aspiration • Treads in 3 feet of water, 2 feet of muddy soil and 2 feet of sandy terrain Accolades: To its credit the ATV won various accolades in various International and National Competitions organized by SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) and Delta Inc. where in entry to these competitions is highly limited.

  • 43. Harnessing talent-Hands on and Minds on 43 All-Terrain Vehicle - Media’s favorite vehicle Experimental learning is paramount at Aditya. As a part of it, a team of 12 students of IV year mechanical engineering of Aditya Engineering College designed, fabricated and assembled an All-Terrain Vehicle(ATV) as per International BAJA standards. This vehicle which is capable of negotiating any kind of terrain like rocky, sandy or hilly is categorized by its low pressure tyres, high ground clearance and independent suspension. Plan Execution The team pioneered by the captain and the vice-captain set upon themselves the tasks of breaking up the venture into various tasks. The venture was segregated into 3 parts namely designing, fabrication and assembling, each part spearheaded by a student who was a specialist in the area. Besides, a technical specialist and chief analyst monitored the entire venture. The venture cost around 5 lakhs and encouragingly the Vice-Chairman of Aditya Group sanctioned the entire amount. Features The body was built of seamless pipes ASTM106 Grade B, the engine - a PIAGGIO395CC petrol engine permitted by PIAGGIO Italy, and the seat and SFI rated safety equipment from Beltenick. The vehicle has a ground clearance of 14 inches.
