10 Years of Partnership: How AWS and SoftServe Are Changing the Game for Clients

Ten whole years — since 2014, SoftServe has proudly partnered with AWS as a Premier Tier Services Partner. We've amassed 12 AWS Competencies, have two dynamic AWS Ambassadors, and boast over 500 AWS Certifications. You could say that we’ve been busy.

And we’ve stayed busy, too — doubling down on our vertical-specific expertise, building repeatable solutions and packaged offerings, and spearheading new initiatives with Generative AI and beyond. With so much afoot, it would be impossible to talk about everything we’ve done together with AWS in the last 10 years, or even in the last six months.

SoftServe secured the AWS Manufacturing and Industrial Competency in summer 2023. The recognition stemmed from our expertise in providing professional services and software solutions for an end-to-end industrial manufacturing software toolchain.

The solutions we've developed for manufacturing and industrial use include deploying digital twins, advanced artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, robotics, 3D scanning, and more.

AWS relaunched its Security Competency last year to consolidate categories and the SoftServe team was excited to earn this recognition. We achieved this thanks to our comprehensive security offerings covering Core Security, Compliance and Privacy, Application Security, and Identity and Access Management.

SoftServe understands that security solutions must align with a company’s specific workloads and use cases while remaining adaptable to evolving global security standards. It’s why our solutions and services are prepared for AWS Audit Manager, AWS Landing Zone, and client security implementation along with industry-specific cloud security specialists on hand if needed. We proudly hold the AWS Security BlackBelt Badge and offer EKS Security Assessment to further bolster cloud security efforts.

SoftServe's AWS Machine Learning LiftOff

We launched our Machine Learning (ML) LiftOff offering on the AWS Marketplace to provide a comprehensive solution for addressing the organizational challenges of deploying and managing ML on AWS.

Our Application Modernization Platform (SAMP) leverages a repeatable framework to offer standardized and customizable self-service solutions for running modern applications — expediting your company's application modernization process.

SoftServe’s Approach:

• Combining the SAMP accelerator with the expertise of our Center of Excellence (CoE) team means organizations can swiftly establish an in-house shared services platform.

Expected Outcomes:

• Accelerated application modernization by deploying essential components on AWS, ensuring cost-efficiency and sustainability while adhering to security standards.
• Seamless integration with third-party solutions and streamlining existing CI/CD pipelines, significantly reducing application onboarding time.

SoftServe’s Container Strategy Assessment (CSA) ensures alignment with your development needs no matter where you are in your business journey — whether you want to optimize your current container strategy or create a new one.

• With three packages tailored to different container strategy maturities, SoftServe’s CSA enables you to validate or create a strategy, define reusable components for implementation and risk reduction, and prepare for app modernization.

SoftServe’s Cost Optimization Accelerator (COA) analyzes your cloud workloads to get the best price performance and performance/watt of energy use.

SoftServe’s Approach:

• Built on top of EC2 instance, COA generates reports with an exportable list of running services and potential cost-saving opportunities from migrating to the Graviton processor.

Expected Outcomes:

• Up to 40% better price performance over comparable current generation x86-based instances for a broad spectrum of workloads.
• Up to 60% less energy for the same performance than comparable EC2 instances for greater sustainability and performance per watt of energy use.

As the intensity around the race for Gen AI excellence continues unabated, SoftServe has redoubled its efforts to push the envelope. We ran our own internal study and found out that Gen AI increases the number and quality of software development outputs by 45%.

Our SAMP offering was the first service we had validated, and we were excited to showcase its many benefits.
