Built In Hardware Video Encoding
UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3 features a built in multi format hardware encoder that lets you capture to H.265. H.265 delivers amazing quality and is the compression standard for distributing Ultra HD content online. You can also use H.265 compression for SD and HD video giving you smaller files at higher quality than other compression formats. The built in hardware encoder is designed to be upgradable so you get a future proof solution that can add new formats via software updates as they become available.

UltraStudio 4K models have a rack based ‘breakout box‘ design with the latest high performance 6G and 12G‑SDI video technology, and are perfect for equipment racks, post production suites or flyaway kits! UltraStudio HD Mini features Thunderbolt 3, as well as built in SDI and analog component and composite inputs, reference, and RS‑422. You also get dual link 3G‑SDI with simultaneous fill and key output, as well as HDMI. UltraStudio Mini Recorder and UltraStudio Mini Monitor include SDI and HDMI connections and are great when you require either capture or playback in SD or HD. UltraStudio HD Mini and UltraStudio Mini models are Thunderbolt powered so you just plug in and go!

UltraStudio Mini
UltraStudio Mini models are ideal when space is tight and you require only capture or playback. UltraStudio Mini Recorder features 1.5G‑SDI and HDMI input and UltraStudio Mini Monitor features 1.5G‑SDI and HDMI outputs.
UltraStudio HD Mini
UltraStudio HD Mini includes 3G‑SDI, analog YUV and composite NTSC/PAL video inputs, two channel analog audio in, and reference as well as RS‑422 for deck control! For output, you get dual link 3G‑SDI with simultaneous fill and key, plus HDMI. UltraStudio Mini also features Thunderbolt 3 so you get incredible 40 Gb/s performance for capture and playback of fully uncompressed video, leaving your computer’s CPU free for more processing tasks.
UltraStudio 4K
UltraStudio 4K has 6G‑SDI, HDMI 1.4, analog component video, 16 channels of SDI audio, 2 channels of balanced analog, 2 channels of unbalanced AES/EBU audio, timecode, up/down/cross conversion, reference and serial deck control.
UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3
UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3 features 12G‑SDI with loop outputs for working with 2160p60 over a single cable. Also includes HDMI 2.0, analog component, 4 channel XLR analog and 2 channels AES/EBU digital audio, timecode, reference and serial deck control. Connects via Thunderbolt 3 for high transfer speeds of up to 40 Gb/s or with an optional PCI Express adapter for higher frame rates and 4K RGB workflows.
