Eastern Washington’s football team formally said goodbye to two dozen seniors in November, and earlier this month it said the same to more players who decided to enter the transfer portal.

MOSCOW, Idaho – Thomas Ford said that he began coming to the University of Idaho to attend high school football camps in the late 1990s.

Speaking at his introductory news conference at New Mexico, former Idaho football coach Jason Eck shared a story plenty of up-and-coming coaches – and their spouses – could relate to.

Thomas Ford was named head football coach at Idaho on Wednesday. Ford replaces Jason Eck, who left to take the same position at New Mexico on Saturday.
