colorway of Birds of a Feather celebrates Teal.
When I look at it, words like malachite and jade come to mine as well. You will see color ranging from the palest tint, to deep, dark and mysterious shades that are nearly black. This version of Birds of a Feather is more closely related to the original painting which inspired it. You may view the painting here: http://mary-wykes.pixels.com/featured/morning-has-broken-mary-wykes.html - Several years ago the painting won an Honorable Mention in a juried international show sponsored by the Society of Watercolor Artists of Fort Worth, Texas.
* * * Primarily, I see this design used for tote bags, upholstery and drapes. I can also see it used for sporty clothing.
* * * If you need it in another size, just send me a message through the link in the left hand column.
* * * Happy sewing! * * *
