Our Story

Spotimplant is a French startup founded in 2020 by two brothers from the south of France: Denis Vilar, a computer engineer and artificial intelligence specialist, and Alexis Vilar, a dental surgery doctor specializing in implantology.
In 2019, they decided to combine their skills to solve problems in dental practice.
During the 2019 ADF Congress (Dental French Association), a prototype of the AI-based dental implant identification system was presented: The project is very successful and wins the ADF Talent Competition.
Today, after a year of research and development, Spotimplant helps dentists around the world with its dental implant identification tool and search engine. Its smart interface is fast and easy to use.

Our independent dental implant search engine contains the most complete database on the Internet, referencing +350 brands and +3500 different implant models.
Our team, composed of experts in implantology and data science, is constantly developing the tool and feeding the database to efficiently answer all queries.
