I’ve been a nationally-ranked cheerleader, punk rock radio DJ, and sketch player on Mr. Show with Bob Odenkirk and David Cross. I’m now a writer/actor/director who identifies as disabled. My work examines adversity, and trauma using humor as a Trojan horse. My goal is to present stories, foster empathy, challenge the status quo, and help to create personal and social change.
I am a mental health advocate and a talent ambassador for MTV's Mental Health Action Day. Some awards: David Sedaris Humor Prize, John Gassner Playwrights Award, Julie Harris Playwriting Award, Stowe Story Lab Fellowship, and other shiny things. Published by: Nation Books, Applause Books, and Smith & Kraus. Member: Sundance Collective, Imagine Impact, Antaeus Theatre Lab, Citadel of Playwrights, EST/LA, Dramatists Guild.
