Love Island star Amber Davies ‘incredibly overwhelmed’ by fan support after Kem Cetinay split
Reality TV star Amber Davies has reached out to her fans to thank them for their support in the wake of her split from Kem Cetinay.
Davies said she was “incredibly overwhelmed” by the outpouring of messages after the pair announced their separation after four months together.
“Would just like to say I am incredibly overwhelmed by everyone's lovely messages and comments,” she tweeted.
“The love and support from you all has been absolutely heartwarming. Thank you so much.”
The couple, who met on Love Island this summer, blamed hectic schedules for the decision, which they said was made with “sadness”.
In a statement they said: “With sadness, we’ve decided to separate. We fell in love in the villa and want to thank all the fans of the show for supporting us.
“Our schedules made it difficult. We’ll remain good friends.”
The news comes weeks after it was reported that the pair were having “furious rows” after moving in together in Essex.
A source told The Sun: “They’ve been at each other’s necks for the past month. They’ve been living on top of each other and clashed over the smallest things.”
