Ashley Cole has revealed he wants to work for Chelsea after his playing career is over rather than Arsenal.
Cole, who is currently at MLS side LA Galaxy, came through Arsenal's Academy and won five major trophies there.
But he left the Gunners for Chelsea after a contract dispute in 2006 and went on to claim another eight winners' medals, including the Champions League in 2012, before leaving the Blues two years ago.
The 35-year-old has started to consider what he will do after he retires and admits he wants to return to Stamford Bridge.
He said: "I hope I can go back to Chelsea and do something there, not so much coaching but scouting or something.
"I enjoy scouting, watching the young lads come through. I have done a little for my agent, but I'd like to do something a bit more serious. I'd love to go back to work at Chelsea somewhere, somehow.
"When you win the Champions League as I did with Chelsea, it is the ultimate. Just the feeling to know I have played in a team and won a trophy that a lot of teams would want to win. You play against all the big teams.
"(Playing in and beating Bayern) Munich will always stick in my brain. Even when I watch it now or I see clips of the penalties, I still get goosebumps."
Antonio Conte: First Chelsea Premier League game
Should Chelsea hire Cole, who visited his former (Chelsea) team-mates when they were in LA last month on pre-season tour, it would be a major coup. He won 107 caps for England and is regarded as the greatest left back in the nation's history.
