Jorvik City Fashion Week!

Hello StarFam! It’s time for all you fierce fashionistas to shine at Jorvik City Plaza – oh yeah, Jorvik City Fashion Week is finally here!

This year, Fashion Week will last until October 10th. That means you have two weeks of fashion fun! And the only thing you need to have done in order to participate in the event is the quest where you visit Jorvik City Plaza for the first time.

Work that runway!

Jorvik City Fashion Week has had a lot of misfortune these last few years. Saboteurs, thieves, models with no sense of fashion (or with no fashion at all) - it’s horrendous! The board members of the Mall decided to hire Thalia to make it work. Thalia in turn called some Jorvik Ranger friends to aid with security around the event, and she also made some major changes to the fashion show.

The star of the show is...YOU! Every day you can hit that runway with some epic moves and be judged by some of Jorvik’s coolest judges on how well your outfit fits the daily theme. When you’re not dazzling everyone with your presence on the stage, you can chit chat with some familiar characters around the event to hear their opinions on Jorvik’s most fashionable show.

Backstage you have unlimited access to both your closet space and your vanity table in order to match your best fitting outfit before the start of the show!

Every day of the week has its own theme, with a special guest judge. Share today’s look with #StarStableOutfits so we can see your interpretation of each theme!

New fashion collections!

FOUR new outfits are now available to pick from in the stores at Jorvik City Mall! You’ll find two cool western inspired sets for both you and your horse, as well as two gorgeous bohemian style looks. Don’t forget to add accessories to give your look that final touch; there are both leg wraps and saddlebags in the decoration shop on the second floor!

A thief on the loose!

The Jorvik Police force aren’t really recognized for their ability to solve crimes – more like their lack thereof. Fashion Policeman Lacroix feels a need to show some professional skill while the Jorvik Rangers are hanging around to help out with security. Surely Lacroix will prove himself when a new thief shows up at the event, but then again, he doesn’t really have any actual detective talent. But... maybe it will all work out now that you’re here...

Save your makeup and hairstyles!

Oh yeah, that’s right! From now on you will never again regret visiting the hair salon – you can change up your hairstyle at any time! All the hairstyles and makeup styles you buy from now on will be automatically saved at a new vanity table in your home stable. This includes the styles you are wearing right now! Couldn’t be better, could it?

When purchasing a new style of makeup or hair you will now get the option to either wear them right away or send them to your home stable. You can visit your home stable at any time to change your styles, which you can do by clicking on the vanity table and picking the style of your choice.

Next to the vanity table there’s also a new wardrobe, which means you don’t have to go to the wardrobe next to your shower stall unless you want to.

You can trust the Jorvik buses!

We all know that feeling when you’re trying to catch the bus and gallop as fast as you can after it while the bus driver happily pretends not to see you as he drives off. NEVER AGAIN! Yup, you’ll never again have to run after the bus!

And you don’t need your bus card when going to Jorvik City anymore – just click on the bus stop of your choice to choose where to go and head there straight away!

From now on you can find bus stops at the following locations:
★ Fort Pinta
★ Jarlaheim
★ New Hillcrest
★ Cape West Fishing Village
★ Mistfall

When clicking on the bus stop, you can pick which Jorvik City location to go to amongst all the ones you’ve unlocked. When travelling from Jorvik City back to the countryside you’ll end up at the same bus stop that you first traveled from.

The only thing you need to do to unlock these new bus stops is to finish the quest where you visit Jorvik City Mall for the first time.

Don't forget the Kallters!

The Kallters will leave Jorvik along with their Fjord horses on October 10th. If you wanna get yourself one of our classic Fjords, make sure to do so before then! As we told you last week, raising your reputation with the Kallters is now easier than before.

We’re still working on our updated Fjord horse and soon we’ll be able to decide a release date!

Horse Market

Eddie and Ferdinand both wanted to check out the Fashion Week, so the Horse Market is closed this week. They’ll be back again next week at Silverglade Village.
