So I'm 5'4 and I'm 130lbs. I'm also thirteen. I've been wanting to lose weight for awhile. And I have been doing pilates Monday-Friday. I have cut out the soda drinks and juices. Especially the junk food. I want to get fit for this summer so I will be comfortable in a swim suit. Will doing pilates help me lose weight for summer?. Please respond!:)

Most important, you have to take in calories to burn calories. If you try to diet and workout, it will be slow. Your body will feel like it is starving itself. You need to know how many calories you need to intake in order to keep your body running.  I have not checked this site for info on weightloss but a lot of sites focus on what I am talking about. Basically, calorie counting but first you have to set up a baseline.
