Who We are
St. John's Episcopal School is a distinguished private school in the Abilene community. We are dedicated to providing a rich educational experience for students from age 2 through 5th grade.

Our expansive, fenced, and gated 32-acre campus is designed for learning and growth, featuring a spacious air-conditioned gym, four thoughtfully designed playgrounds, a track for physical fitness, and a learning garden that enhances our hands-on approach to education—all surrounding our two academic buildings and a welcoming Chapel.
Our Graduates
St. John’s students move on to higher education where, in past years, alumni include numerous valedictorians, salutatorians, National Merit finalists, gifted scholars, musicians and athletes. Accreditation and Memberships
St. John's Episcopal School is accredited by the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools (SAES). An organization that holds St. John's to high standards and accountability, and also promotes strategic thinking.
Recognition of Accredited Status as per SAES:

- Texas Private School Accreditation Commission (TEPSAC)
- Oklahoma Private School Accreditation Commissions (OPSAC); and New Mexico
- National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS)
SAES is the only denominational accrediting association so recognized. Additionally, SAES accreditation is recognized by eleven Episcopal dioceses within the six states served by SAES.
