About

Our Mission:  St. John’s Episcopal School shall provide an enriched academic program that emphasizes the development of each child’s potential within a caring and Christian environment.
Who We are

St. John's Episcopal School is a distinguished private school in the Abilene community.  We are dedicated to providing a rich educational experience for students from age 2 through 5th grade.

By integrating Episcopalian principles into the daily life of our school, St. John's nurtures a mission rooted in Christian values. This commitment inspires students to develop a sense of purpose and responsibility, guiding them as they work to make meaningful contributions to the world around them.

Our committed teachers play a crucial role in fostering a love of learning. They encourage students to embrace challenges, develop resilience, and become independent thinkers. With a strong foundation in Christian education, St. John's promotes academic excellence alongside personal growth.

Our comprehensive curriculum encompasses a wide range of subjects, including Music, Technology, Art, Godly Play, Library, Spanish, P.E., Science, and STEM. This diverse offering ensures that students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for future academic success.

Our expansive, fenced, and gated 32-acre campus is designed for learning and growth, featuring a spacious air-conditioned gym, four thoughtfully designed playgrounds, a track for physical fitness, and a learning garden that enhances our hands-on approach to education—all surrounding our two academic buildings and a welcoming Chapel.
