- Since Alfredo didn't specify a specific date, I can't say for sure, but Esperanza wants it to be the following month.
- INCITING ACTION
- This is my sister-in-law Julia
- Good afternoon Ms. Del Valle
- Let's go to the living room.
- RISING ACTION
- You're leaving already?
- I'm going back to my hometown I'm sorry but I have to go.
- Esperanza and Alfredo are engaged, but Alfredo no longer seems excited about the idea of being married to Esperanza, and neither does he appear interested in selecting a date.
- CLIMAX
- Yeah I'm engaged with Esperanza
- So, Your getting married now I'm happy for you.
- Don Julian and Alfredo go neighboring, and Julia welcomes them at the door.
- RESOLUTION
- How have you been this 8 years?
- I've been doing great how about you?
- Alfredo tries to confess her feelings to Julia only to find out Julia returning to her hometown and they say they farewells and parted ways.
- Denouement
- I guess throughout the years, I have always loved Esperanza.
- When Alfredo ran into Julia in the plaza, he was shocked to realize that she had learned of his engagement to Esperanza. Since Alfredo thinks he has fallen in love with Julia but can't deny the fact that he was engaged to Esperanza, he was perplexed by his own emotions.
- The wedding will be around the month of May.
- When is the wedding?
- He noticed that something was amiss when he got to Julia's house and saw her. he comes to the realization that he can no longer feel anything and that he was clinging to a dream that had already been lost.

- Alfredo is aware that his romantic interest in Julia has ended. When Alfredo understands that what he felt for Julia was an infatuation that faded over time, his personal struggle regarding his feelings and sense of commitment is finally resolved.
