PacketViper, a digital security firm, was seeking to update their brand with a stunning new logo and matching website and marketing materials.
A well-designed logo defines you brand without even uttering a single word. It is a badge. An insignia. An emblem. It should be shown with pride. And the effort put into it should reflect the time, passion, and dedication you have put into your business. It’s easy to change a website design, a print ad campaign, a trade show display… but the logo should stand the test of time. Nothing else is as good an indicator of the strength of your brand than an identity that endures.

PacketViper required a website that would help establish them as a leading-edge technology services company. Following the latest trends in website design, we developed a site that feels contemporary, bright, colorful, and engaging, with numerous calls to action spread throughout the site. Built using HubSpot, the website also features numerous landing pages that allow for improved customer interactions and management.
Empyreal EMR needed help designing the look and feel of both their Medical Records app and their promotional website. Using a clean, clinical style, we were able to craft a uniform online presence, while giving each platform their own identity. The website was built on the Twitter Bootstrap using WordPress, with a HubSpot blog.
For the logo, Empyreal EMR wanted something in line with the medical profession, but with a modern, technological feel. We chose a jeweled green color palette, as green is often associated with medicine and wellness, and used them within a shape reminiscent of a a gemstone or shield.
The Hauser Group's new website needed to better define the two divisions within the company, the Insurance Group and the M&A Transaction Group. By associating with a different color with each division, we were able to give them each a unique identity. The homepage features animating slides and introductory content for each division. Large and powerful images have been paired with the bright colors and animations throughout the site, to add vitality to the dry and technical content, and give Hauser the appearance of a large player within the industry.
A national insurance firm, The Hauser Group has two main divisions, one handling insurance, the other dealing with M&A Transactions. They wanted their branding to show this separation visually, and we achieved this through the use of colors. While the H icon existed in their previous logo, it was paired with dated, italicized type that didn't work well together. The H icon was modified, the new colors added, and the text updated with a more powerful and corporate block typeface.
As Hauser spends a good deal of time preparing documents for their clients, it was imperative that their Word and PowerPoint templates looked absolutely top-notch. As both of these applications are notoriously difficult to deal with, it was important that these documents be easy to use while still maintaining a strong brand identity, which is what we achieved here.
Bellefield wanted their website to stand apart from the competition in the legal marketplace. Therefore developed a vibrant color scheme, a selection of photos, and dozens of unique icons to highlight the important content and showcase how the iTimeKeep app works. The finished website was built using a combination of WordPress and HubSpot for the blogging component. The website also feature a robust user guide, and a private support website for paying customers, all built using variants of the same core WordPress theme.
Along with the mobile website, Bellefield was looking for guidance on the design of their mobile App. The same vibrant color scheme and UI rules were applied, to create a seamless experience. As the iTimeKeep app works on all devices, this continuity is incredibly helpful when using is toggling between the App and the support website.
But before we could build any of these things, we needed a logo for both the App and the company itself. A color palette was developed, based on their existing green, and a hand-tweak typeface used for both logos, along with a leaf motif borrowed from their previous branding. The end result was a family of logos that each have their own unique design working in harmony with one another.
Down to Earth was looking to compete with high-end furniture retailers, while also emphasizing their competitiveness on price. To achieve this goal, gorgeous photography was paired with a refined and elegant design in a highly adaptable WordPress environment that allows the content and imagery to be easily changed to suit the season. Animating banners and photo galleries help tell the story of the business, their stunning furniture and unique showrooms, while a blog showcases the news, events, and helpful gardening tips.
Along with the responsive website, Down to Earth took their entire online presence into consideration. We enhanced their social media pages and developed a program to make updates. We monitored site traffic and tweaked our content to achieve organic first-place search rankings. We also engaged in paid online advertising campaigns with Google Adwords.
The existing Down to Earth logo needed to be refreshed to match their new focus. While they couldn't lose their iconic tree, the treatment of the icon and the logo's typeface needed to be updated from the clunky and dated version to something clean and elegant. They also needed a simpler, square variation for use on social media and in advertising with the focus on the name.
Down to Earth also engaged their audience through local advertising, postcards, and brochures for their events. The branding that we began on the website is continued here, and you'll see both versions of the logo working in conjunction with each another on these high-end printed pieces.
W&G wanted to create a website that showcased their tremendous experience with whistleblower lawsuits, while also breaking out of the mold of stuffy, awful law firm websites. We chose to use a bold color scheme that avoided the gold and red often used in the legal profession. The WordPress setup also allows them to post news of recent decisions and press their cases have received.
The Needlers Foundation consists of New York Garment District professionals who use their position to help raise money and awareness for under-privileged children in need of expensive and difficult medical care. They wanted their website design to reflect both their heritage and their mission. To this end, we started with a linen background textured, numerous textiles, colors, and patterns, and a dashed line border treatment to mimic the look of needle and thread. We paired this aesthetic with photos of children, including some of the brave children that the Foundation has helped. The finished website is warm, endearing, and truly unique. Built using WordPress and the Twitter Bootstrap.
The existing logo featured the entire Needlers Foundation name written in a looping script font, making it hard to read and even more difficult to work with. By borrowing the needle icon they had used in the past, I reworked the font to resemble string threading the eye of the needle, with the word "Foundation" nestled neatly below.
CompassPOINT Legal offers a wide array of legal technology services, from IT services to legal billing to software training and support resources, and needed to give each service area equal voice on their website. The site was built using WordPress to assist in the management the content and allow for the scheduling of conference appearances and the ability to manage their webinar attendees and process ticket payments. An HTML email template was also created for a MailChimp campaign that accompanied their webinar schedule.
A new company, part of the branding process was the development of a name. As their services involve navigation their clients through complex world of legal technology, from determining the right software, to installing it across their network, to training and maintenance, they wanted an identity that spoke to the guidance they provide. For the name, they chose CompassPOINT, and for the logo, they wanted something contemporary with a technological feel.
For the Garver Group, I developed a powerful color palette and a painterly texture, within a modular design structure. Paired with black & white photographs from a photo shoot, we were able to create a sophisticated and stylish website that renders beautifully across all devices. Built using the Twitter Bootstrap within a fully-custom WordPress theme.
