This was shot here in the Chicago suburbs by some friends of mine, primarily in 1988.  (I think they did some additional shooting in 1989.)  Had I not been overseas at the time, I may have likely had a part in this b-flick.  They released it to DVD in 2000, but it was available as a VHS before then, so I think the IMBD info is misleading.  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0251005/  The Sci-Fi Channel used to air this movie. A friend of mine has the original monster prop and the mold it was cast in latex from.  The monster's pretty cool actually and should have had a bigger role! One of the co-directors (Joseph Kurtz) is retired now and living in Holiday Hills (IL).  He's better known, though, as "J. Frank Kurtz," the writer/illustrator who created the 1991 Creepsville comic book series for Gogo Comics.  (Also an editor at Monsterscene Magazine and a bunch of other periodicals.) - @Wednesday, October 22, 2014 2:06 PM

Ah, it's not so bad, I think it's pretty enjoyable... better than the CGI crap of today, it at least had that cool scene of the dude getting ripped apart. - @Friday, August 16, 2013 9:33 PM
