Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and members of his entourage were welcomed to Hollywood last night with a high-powered dinner hosted by the Entertainment industry’s elite, according to a report in the Hollywood Reporter.
An intimate dinner was held at Rupert Murdoch’s estate with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Morgan Freeman, James Cameron, Michael Douglas, Disney CEO Bob Iger and wife Willow Bay, Universal film chairman Jeff Shell, Fox TV exec Peter Rice and film studio chief Stacey Snider, and more.
The Crown Prince took questions from the audience, THR reports, including a question from Murdoch about the Muslim Brotherhood.
Crown Prince Salman and his entourage have rented out the entire Beverly Hills Four Seasons, including all 285 rooms with 100 suites.
While in Los Angeles, Crown Prince Salman is expected to meet with Ari Emanuel of Endeavor, Elon Musk, and others. Saudi Arabia ended its 35-year ban on movie theaters in December, providing a fresh overseas market for the U.S. entertainment industry.
Crown Prince Mohammad reportedly learned English by watching films as a child.
