Please choose from our 1km, 2km, or 5km swim options and make a splash for your chosen charity. Over the past five years, our incredible community of swimmers has raised nearly $660,000 for various charitable organisations. Let’s aim higher in 2025!
The Cole family established the event to challenge the body and mind to get fit, swim, or run a reasonable distance. The first Cole Classic was held back in 1983, and today, it’s one of Sydney’s most significant sporting events held in tribute to Graham Cole and his legacy, as well as his passion for swimming in the ocean.
The family established online fundraising tools to help fund various charities benefiting children and cancer patients.
The runs are followed by the famous swim events the next day, known as the Cole Classic, held at Shelly Beach. There are 1km, 2km, and 5km swim races that finish in front of the Manly Lifesaving Club.
