Syracuse, N.Y. -- Le Moyne College last month bought 20 Syracuse homes -- all from one owner on the same day -- within a couple blocks of its campus on the eastern side of the city.
The $4.1 million purchase will likely take the 20 homes off the city’s tax rolls while making Le Moyne one of the largest landlords in its neighborhood.
