Teen catches first trout ever on Limestone Creek on opening day

Thomas Murfitt, 13, of Lafayette, got out for the opening day of trout fishing season Monday with his uncle, Todd Murfitt, on the catch and release section of Limestone Creek.

In this photo, he holds his first trout ever -- a brown. It was one of two trout he caught on a fly rod that day.

"We got some cold fingers, but he toughed it out," his uncle said.
