Death toll update | 14 people killed in Israel attack on building of the Iranian embassy in Damascus

The number of deaths due to Israeli airstrikes on a building of the Iranian embassy on Al-Mazzah highway in the capital Damascus has increased to 14, after pulling the bodies of three Syrian members of the Syrian Resistance for the Liberation Golan, which trained and armed by Iran and oversee by Lebanese Hezbollah.
The fatalities are as follows:
Five Syrian members of the Syrian Resistance for the Liberation Golan.
One member of Lebanese Hezbollah

Eight Iranian members , including seven commanders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
It is worth noting that the death toll is likely to rise due to serious injuries.

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported that Mohamed Reda Zahdy, who is a commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Syria, Lebanon and Palestine, his deputy, office director and other Iranian advisors were killed.

Moreover, Hussein Amir Allah the head of the department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards in Syria, Lebanon and Palestine and two other Iranian people were killed under the Israeli strikes on a building of the Iranian Embassy in the Syrian capital Damascus, amid information regarding other casualties under the ruins of the building.

SOHR documented 30 attacks in 2024: 22 airstrikes and eight rocket attacks by ground forces, during which Israel targeted several positions in Syria, destroying nearly 59 targets, including buildings, weapons and ammunitions warehouses, headquarters, centres and vehicles. These strikes killed 129 combatants and injured 47 others. The fatalities are distributed as follows:

21 Iranian members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
20 members of the Lebanese Hezbollah.
12 Iraqi persons.
28 Iranian-backed Syrian militiamen.
Ten Iranian-backed non-Syrian militiamen.
38 regime soldiers.
In addition, those attacks left ten civilians, including a woman, dead and nearly 20 other civilians injured.

The attacks are distributed regionally as follows:

Damascus and Rif Dimashq: 15 attacks.
Daraa: Seven attacks.
Homs: Three attacks.
Al-Quneitra: Two attacks.
Tartus: One attack.
Deir Ezzor: One attack.
Aleppo: One attack.
SOHR would like to point out that Israel sometimes targeted more than one province in a single attack.
