Your impact as a Tate Patron

Patrons' donations go to Tate Foundation (registered Charity Number 1085314). Your donation makes it possible for Tate to broaden and care for the national collection of art. Donations also help stage exhibitions and create learning programmes for all ages.

Support learning

Taking place at our galleries, Tate’s learning programmes give people of all ages and backgrounds the chance to learn from art. Tate Patrons help support learning opportunities for young children, families, and schools.

How your support helps

Tate collection

Patrons help bring in key artworks to Tate’s collection. New artworks allow Tate to promote multiple histories and lived experiences. You can read about recent acquisitions supported by Patrons in the Tate Patrons report.

Tate exhibitions

An extensive programme of exhibitions, spanning historic and modern art, are staged with Tate Patrons support. It is through your help that art can reach as wide an audience as possible.
