On January 7th, all warehouse Stewards from Windigo and Albertsons attended an engineered labor standards training class by Lead Industrial Engineer Denny Toland from the Warehouse Division. Training and knowledge is key in representing our members at the highest level.
Our grocery Teamsters are kicking off an early contract campaign as well. The Windigo, Albertsons, and Ruan contracts all expire in 2027. We will be prepared, united, and ready for the fight. The members in the grocery industry work very hard and deserve to be compensated for their labor.
Congratulations to Brother Steven Martin on his Retirement!
Congratulations to Steven Martin who retired from Ruan/Fry's after 48 years. Steve was the number seniority driver at Ruan for many years and finally decided to hang it up. Steve was a loyal Teamster and we wish him a fantastic retirement!
Warehouse Division Organizing Campaign
Our elected officials have sent a letter of support as the workers at Titus Transport are fighting to become Union. We appreciate our elected officials standing with labor and putting their name behind that action. Titus Transport is 3PL that delivers to Fry’s stores throughout Arizona. They work side by side with Teamsters and deserve the right to have Union representation. Stay tuned!
International Brotherhood of Teamsters Warehouse Division Director Tom Erickson Visits the Members of US Foods, Sysco, Windigo, and Albertson's in Arizona.
Congratulations to Brother Jimmy Pope on his retirement!
