ViaSat awarded cybersecurity software contract

Global broadband services and technology company ViaSat was awarded a production contract to provide ViaSat Mobile Dynamic Defense (MDD) cybersecurity software to protect and secure Tactical Local Area Network (TACLAN) Field Computing Device – Wearable (FCD-W) platforms.

ViaSat is working with iGov, a systems integrator specializing in delivering mission-centric Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) solutions, on this contract. The two companies are working with the U.S. Government to enable future platform and mission capabilities for the TACLAN FCD-W program.
