Sometimes your favorite fictional characters are besties IRL, and, well, other times, they aren't invited to one another's weddings. It turns out that fans of Nickelodeon's Drake & Josh were in for a devastating wake-up call this past weekend when Josh Peck tied the knot with Paige O'Brien...and Drake Bell was nowhere to be seen on the guest list. Ouch.
Things took a dramatic turn on Sunday (June 18) when Drake took to Twitter to post about the apparent snub. "When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear," he wrote, leaving no confusion as to whom he was referring. In another tweet, he added: "True colors have come out today. Message is loud and clear." Drake's tweets have since been deleted, but they've been immortalized in screenshots by fans who are busy mourning the fact that these two onscreen stepbrothers seem to have fallen out of touch with each other. Of course, it's impossible to know the details of their history — perhaps they just haven't spoken in a while rather than having a fight — but it sure seems like Drake wishes he could have been there when Josh said his I do's.
