The former first daughter stepped out with her family while in Bali, Indonesia, wearing a summery blue sundress that would work well on a weeklong getaway or in a school classroom on those first few days of September where it's still unbearably hot. The dress's subtle tonal pattern and shirtdress top kept things interesting, while the mid-length skirt was both flowy and comfortable. She paired the look with simple sandals with leather straps and a sturdy camera — no iPhone here. (The fact that her camera strap subtly matched her shoes was an added touch.)
Meanwhile, sister Sasha chose a black slip dress with a gray tee layered underneath, and white sneakers. The combo may be tried and true, but still very much on trend. The dress also proved versatile, as Sasha wore it with a traditional Balinese sarong during another point in the trip. Meanwhile, Malia paired her sarong with a graphic tee; both opted for baseball caps to keep them protected from the sun.
Of course, Malia and Sasha weren't alone on vacation. Former First Lady Michelle wore leggings, a tank, and a long sleeveless robe that she belted at the waist for a look that was simple and easy to move in. As for former president Barack Obama? He opted for his signature dad jeans, because some things never change.
