Selena Gomez is taking summer vacation to the next level with old friends, florals galore, and time spent relaxing in a country known for its food and history: Italy.
Selena has been spotted palling around in Rome with David Henrie, who played older brother Justin to her Alex Russo on Wizards of Waverly Place back in the day, and she's taking lots of pictures with fans for proof. Selena can be seen wearing a floor-length floral wrap dress one day and wide-leg pants with a short-sleeve printed shirt and her hair tied up in a scrunchie on another day.
Though Selena has not posted anything about her vacation on social media (she's obviously having too much fun to bother with Instagram!), David has been posting updates to his Instagram, including a photo with his new wife Maria Cahill. He captioned the photo, "Been so long since I had an actual vacation. Very fortunate to get to go on one with my love."
Selena and David have remained good friends since their Disney Channel days, and the 25-year-old singer attended David's wedding to Maria in 2017, along with the rest of the cast. She wore a maroon dress with cutouts to the event, and shared a sweet message on social media for the special day: "Very much in my feelings about my big brother getting married," she wrote. "Even though we for sure knew it would be him first. May God bless you and your beautiful wife Henrie!"
Maria and Selena clearly get along too, because Sel recently crashed her date night with David, just like a real-life Alex might do to a real-life Justin.
As if the throwback pictures, real-life reunion, and, now, joint vacation weren't enough, the idea of an actual Wizards of Waverly Place reboot was floated last year. If this trip around Italy is actually part of a Wizards movie that we don't know about yet, it might just be more than we can handle.
