Detecting cyber attacks
CYBELS Sensor is a cyberattack detection system for deployment in critical areas of information systems. CYBELS Sensor identifies attacks based on detection rules and behavioral analysis algorithms developed by Thales research laboratories.
The CYBELS Sensor's specifications allow it to host and protect sensitive rules without the risk of being compromised in the event of a network attack. CYBELS Sensor thus enables Operators of Vital Importance (OIV) to comply with regulations on the detection of attacks.
The modular architecture of CYBELS Sensor ensures that the solution is future-proof. In this way, new threats and changes in regulation are taken into account in the long term.
This new trusted probe meets the requirements of the Military Programming Act (LPM), with which Operators of Vital Importance (OIV) will have to comply by 2019.
French national cybersecurity agency (Agence nationale de la sécurité des systèmes d’information – ANSSI) has issued Cybels Sensor with a security Visa for the basic qualification of this device. This qualification attests compliance with the regulatory, technical and security requirements and demonstrates the level of performance offered by Cybels Sensor.
The ANSSI security Visa is a strong signal to the international cybersecurity community that the probe is ready to be deployed in critical environments, in France and abroad, to meet the growing demand of cyberthreat detection.
