Experience

Toby has over 25 years of varied financial research experience. He is currently a senior financial analyst helping to provide business valuation, economic damages, and divorce accounting services. Prior to that, he was a financial writer at DST Systems where he wrote and edited syndicated articles targeting customers of financial service providers while also compiling financial and economic data for use by editors.

Toby started his career at Thomson Reuters by providing deal-specific research for the mergers and acquisitions database. Later, with Venture Economics, he prepared and supervised the production of all Thomson Financial private equity annual publications before moving on to SourceMedia, where he helped to create research databases for private placements, pension plan manager hirings, and asset-backed securitizations.

By gaining experience researching and analyzing data in a multitude of financial fields, Toby has developed a unique and experienced viewpoint in money matters.

Planning for your financial future can be an empowering experience. It consists less on expertise and more on virtues such as self-discipline and delayed gratification. It’s simple, but not easy. However, the rewards, including security and comfort for you and your loved ones, is immeasurable.

Education

Toby received his Bachelor of Science in business administration with a focus on financial management from The College at Brockport, State University of New York. He is also a CFA charterholder.
