Gophers ranked in CBS Post-Spring top-25

Following Spring practices, CBS puts the Gophers in their top-25

CBS released their latest early Top 25 and this one has the Gophers ranked 23rd.

Cool right? I’m not so sure, but that’s just me fearing unrealistic expectations.

NOTES:

Four of the final six teams in the top 25 are Big Ten teams with four more ranked in the top 20. Not that I was expecting the Big Ten to be easy, but things are going to be

The Gophers would be slotted as the 3rd team in the Big Ten West with Northwestern and Iowa coming right behind them ranked 24th and 25th respectively.

So much returning on both sides of the ball, I will not be surprised if the Gophers end up being ranked. Personally I’d prefer it if they didn’t start out that way.
