A Pretty, Elegant Wedding at Kyle House in Roanoke, Virginia

The day John Rose (28 and a deputy sheriff) proposed to Marianne Sherman (26 and a dispatcher), he told her it would be the best day ever. This slogan became the theme of their wedding. It was emblazoned in glittery gold font on the pink floral invites, and it topped the beautiful gold and white wedding cake. Marianne and John's beautiful wedding at the Kyle House didn't disappoint. With a color palette of lavender, blush, ivory and gold, they kept their decor pretty and elegant with a hint of rustic style. The wedding party's look perfectly captured this mix of styles. The bridesmaids dressed in various champagne dresses while John and his groomsmen complemented them in black suits and wildflower boutonnieres. Marianne herself wore a beautiful Alita Graham ball gown with gold beading and lace details. She carried a stunning bouquet with thistles, wildflowers and dried flowers and wore a flower crown made up of similar flowers in her naturally styled hair. Similar flower arrangements decorated the barn-style chapel at the Kyle House for the ceremony and were displayed on the blush dining tables at the reception. After dinner and dancing, Marianne and John ended their night with "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey. "I will never forget singing that song in a circle of our most favorite people," Marianne says. "John and I even had an air guitar battle during the solo." April B Photography was there to capture the fun-filled day!
