Fans beg Timothee Chalamet to shave mustache after brutal Golden Globes Nikki Glaser roast

Despite his shave-faced lookalike's attendance at the Golden Globes, Timothee Chalamet opted to keep rocking his new mustache.

However, the choice didn't come without quite a bit of taunting. Host Nikki Glaser was quick to lay in on the actor, saying: “You have the most gorgeous eyelashes on your upper lip.”

Timothee arrived to the carpet with elevated look, despite the typical black suit. His dark clothes included some glimmer and shine as they were made with some shimmering fabric. The actor layered the suit jacket over a white button-up shirt, throwing on a thin, blue silk scarf around his neck. His facial hair, though, stole the show. While the hair on his head was well-groomed with a fresh cut, his mustache and beard were left a bit prickly.

When Nikki wasn't afraid to take a comedic swing at Timothee, the audience laughed. On Twitter, formerly known as X, one fan applauded her hilarious working, writing: "Nikki Glaser is doing such a great job roasting people. The shade thrown on Timothee Chalamet’s mustache and the Adam Sandler joke."

Fans seemed to agree with Nikki, too, wondering when Timothee would ditch the mustache. "Timothee”s mustache being roasted is so deserved shave that shit off," wrote one fan. Another added: "Timothée Chalamet needs to let go of the mustache PLEASE."

This wasn't a new take on the star's new look. In fact, on Jan. 4, before the award show, a fan firmly wrote, "Timothee Chalamet's mustache shouldn't exist."

Of course, there were a few people who ran to his defense, loving the shakeup in his appearance. "The mustache and haircut saved timothee chalamet’s career," said one fan. Another, who admitted they don't usually like men with mustaches, wrote: "Now why do I suddenly find Timothee Chalamet attractive now that he has a mustache."

It wasn't just his hair that left fans chattering, though. His date, Kylie Jenner, sparked a bit of buzz, too. After all, the pair are slowly becoming more public as they continue to make appearances together. "Happy for Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet tbh," wrote one fan. Another showed a moment where Kylie was snapping a picture of Timothee, writing: "WAITTTTT kylie and timothée are so cute."
