Our Story
The Paint Shop opened our doors to the public in 2022, although we have been servicing the automotive industry since 1988. With a passion for paint and body, and a desire to provide the best quality work to many different clients, The Paint Shop represents an evolution in our business from a top-secret supplier to the OEMs to a full-service paint and body solution for everyone.
Over the years, we have grown and evolved, but our commitment to excellence has remained the same. We are proud to have earned a reputation as a trusted and reliable paint and body supplier, and we continue to strive for success in everything we do.
Matthew O'Keefe
Project Manager
Matthew started his career at GLS North America in 2016 as a body shop helper. Through the years, Matthew has grown from Body Tech at GLS North America to The Paint Shop's Project Manager while earning an Associate Degree in Autobody and Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Baker College. Matthew previously managed the Prototype, Receiving and Quality departments at GLS North America in Romulus, Michigan.
